Instructions to applicants-
Thank you for your interest in becoming an Independent Contractor Consultant for The Inspectors of Election (TIE). As part of the selection process, we use this application to help us assess your skills, abilities, education, and other criteria pertinent to your selection and opportunities for the best placement on a TIE project. Please review the application before you begin. After you have reviewed the application, complete all the information requested in each section. Applications that are incomplete will not be given further consideration.
Please include your resume with your application. However, the application for consideration as a Consultant must still be completed (Do not put “see resume” on your application. Complete the information as requested.
All materials submitted as part of your application packet become the property of TIE and will not be returned. Should you need further description of the service areas, please contact us as indicated below.
What Happens After You Submit Your Application?
All Consultant applications are reviewed for minimum qualifications for the individual service positions. From the applicant pool, we will select the best candidates for interviews. We may administer a written test to determine knowledge in specific areas.
We may select you as a Consultant for one service position on a project and ask that you start in another so we can see your work with TIE clients prior to offering engagements at another service position. Upon selection as a TIE Consultant, each Consultant will be required to provide TIE with a W-9 and sign an Independent Contractor Agreement.
TIE is a specialized service company in the CID industry. Its services are project related and there is no guarantee to any Consultant of the number of assignment that the Consultants may perform for TIE.
