Homeowner And Condo Association Election Services

The Inspectors of Election provides home and condo owner association election administration services including voter education, registration, Internet and online elections, and ballot counting.

1. Voter Education for Home and Condo Owners Associations

• Create and mail newsletters that contain a variety of registration, planning, and ballot counting information that is informative for boards of directors and association members alike.
• TIE can prepare and present education sessions that include topics on elections laws, association rules, and election procedures.

2. Homeowner Association Election Rules & Procedures Consulting

• Election consulting services to HOA’s and Condo Owner Associations that can assist in the development of election rules and procedures.
• Help communicate the rules for elections to association members and Boards of Directors in accordance with Davis-Stirling requirements.

3. Candidate Solicitation Assistance And Election Committees

• Help Homeowner Associations create a working Election Committee and assist with candidate search and solicitation by mail.
• Develop campaign guidelines and distribute candidate qualifications to Homeowner and Condo Owner Association members.  We can also assist with related Election Committee documentation and reporting.

4. Online HOA Board Candidate Submission

• Provide online candidate submission form. HOA or Condo election candidate statements are submitted online via the TIEiVote Website.
• Candidate submission forms available online for Homeowner and Condo Association member review. We prepare hard copy and online statements for your HOA election’s candidate submission process.

4. Facilitation of Candidate Forums

• Provide homeowner and condo association members proper notice and agenda for the Candidate Forums.
•  Provide facilitator for HOA election candidate forums. We can oversee the candidate’s presentations and provide facilitation for a two-hour forum.

5. Complete HOA Election Administration Services

• Collect and prepare candidates’ election information, prepare election documents for mailing to association members and can send them using our mail house services.
• Delivers candidate and election information to association members at up to a 48% savings on outbound postage and have optional prepaid return postage for larger associations.
• The collection of ballots, registration, and preparation for meeting is all administered by The Inspectors of Election. Our Inspector of Election and Assistants will attend meeting and perform election procedures according to governing documents and Civil Code.
• Our election administration services can provide staffing and AutoVote® equipment for ballot counting as well as all documentation of election results.  We will prepare the certification of election for corporate records and administer storage of records per Civil Code.
